Hotel Description
Set in sculptured gardens overlooking a swimming pool, Lake Nakuru Lodge is situated in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famed for its abundance of white rhino, and for the wide variety of birdlife, notably flamingos and pelicans, found on the striking lake that lies in the centre of the park.
The lodge has 68 family rooms, cottages and suites. All are furnished with rustic African furniture, including large 4-poster beds, and are equipped with mosquito net, aircon, telephone and safe. All rooms have private verandas, some with panoramic views of Lake Nakuru and others with views of the pool or the garden.
Matarakwa Restaurant, with broad windows overlooking the park, serves international cuisine. Guests are also welcome to dine on the terrace or by the pool. Bush barbecues are available on request. Mama Niki Bar and Rhino Paddock Cocktail Bar serve soft drinks, beers and spirits, Nightly entertainment is on offer, such as traditional dancing, performances by Lake Nakuru Choir and acrobatic shows.
