Tour’s Program

Departs daily from Kasane to Maun (or vice versa): On arrival at Kasane Airport you will be met by our representative and assisted onto your private air charter to Savute Safari Lodge, located in the southern part of the Chobe National Park. Spend 2 nights Savute Safari Lodge on a fully inclusive basis.

The lodge peers out from ancient camelthorn trees on the shore of the dry Savute channel. The lounge, library and cocktail bar are situated in the exquisite thatch and timber main building, where an upstairs viewing deck allows Savute’s enchanting sunsets to mesmerise guests. A large fireplace downstairs is equally inviting on winter nights, while the delicious aroma of dinner and the prospect of candlelit dining beckons guests to the elegant dining room. The lodge also boasts a swimming pool and shaded viewing deck, both of which overlook the channel, and where afternoon tea is served and guests can sit around the campfire after dinner.
Enjoy a full day of morning and afternoon game drives in the arid Savute region of the Chobe National Park.
This morning you will be transferred by private charter aircraft to the Xaxanaka region of the Moremi Game Reserve. Spend two nights at Camp Moremi on a fully inclusive basis. Camp Moremi is situated on the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon on the eastern side of the Okavango Delta, within the Moremi Game Reserve. The Lodge accommodates guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs. Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway. Each guest unit has its own private bathroom situated adjacent to the tent and located on the raised platform.
Full day of morning and afternoon game drives by open 4x4 safari vehicle, excellent bird watching, exploring the Xakanaka Lagoon and surrounding Okavango channels by powerboat.
Today you will be transferred by private speedboat to Camp Okavango situated on remote Nxaragha Island, an exhilarating journey to the heart of the Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round water wilderness experience. Spend one night at Camp Okavango on a fully inclusive basis. Camp Okavango’s unashamed luxury blends with the Africa of yore in the elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge buildings. Meals are silver service at dining tables romantically lit by candlelight. The dining room leads onto an expansive open-air patio for evenings around a blazing campfire. Other lodge facilities include a cocktail bar, lounge, wildlife reference library, a secluded bird-viewing hide, shaded hammocks, reading benches and a delightful sun-deck and plunge pool for relaxation during the hot midday hours. This afternoon enjoy a guided walk in the Delta, which will afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness or ride in a traditional mokoro (dug out canoe) with one of our experienced guides for wildlife and bird watching expeditions. View many of the 600 species of birds found in this region.
This morning you will return by private charter aircraft to Kasane, in the northern extremity of the Chobe National Park, where upon arrival you will be taken by vehicle to a waiting speed boat. Then enjoy a cruise along the famous Chobe River to the lodge. Spend three nights at Chobe Savanna Lodge on a fully inclusive basis. This is a new luxury lodge located on the banks of the Chobe River in Namibia, overlooking the Chobe National Park. Surrounded by the Chobe River on a peninsular in neighbouring Namibia, Chobe Savanna Lodge offers discerning guests a hideaway for those looking for an exclusive Chobe River experience. Located across the river from the Chobe National Park’s vast seasonal floodplains called the Puku Flats, the area is renowned for its large game diversity and prolific wildlife. The area so named because of the rare Puku (an antelope of similar size and structure to an impala), is home to large herds of buffalo, elephant and sable as well as high concentrations of giraffe, wild dog and lion which come to the rivers edge to drink and graze.
Those who wish to explore the surrounding Chobe River will not be disappointed as all guests will be treated to the services of a resident professional guide who’s intimate knowledge of the area will make for an unforgettable experience. Guests have a choice of walking safaris to one of the surrounding private conservancies that make up Savanna or boat excursions by small highly maneuverable speedboats, ideal for close up encounters with large game along the rivers edge. Depending on the time of year, guests are also offered the opportunity to take canoe excursions along the river. For those interested in learning more about the local Kuomboka and Barotseland communities that inhabit remote areas of the Chobe River, the lodge arranges small private excursions to witness real African life.
After breakfast, transfer by speedboat back to Kasane, where en route you will clear through Namibia border formalities. Dropped in Kasane for your departure.
