Tour’s Program

(Tokaleya Tonga: the Smoke that Thunders; the 'i' is silent) is a waterfall located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe. David Livingstone, the Scottish missionary and explorer, is believed to have been the first European to view the Victoria Falls, on the 16th November 1855. David Livingstone gave the falls the name 'Victoria Falls' in honour of Queen Victoria, but the indigenous name of 'Mosi-oa-Tunya' — literally meaning the 'Cloud that Thunders' — is also well known.

When planning your Victoria Falls safari holiday, it's vital to take into consideration that the Falls look completely different in the dry season. The best time to see Victoria Falls is from February to April, when the Zambezi River is at its most powerful. On the other hand whitewater rafting doesn't occur when the Zambezi River is in full flood - so when you choose to travel should depend on your priorities.

• Zambezi River Sunset Cruises
• Swimming in the Devils Pool
• Elephants Rides in Victoria Falls

• Whitewater Rafting in Victoria Falls
• Helicopter Scenic Ride over the Falls
